  8. Description:    The Data Display Debugger (DDD) is a comfortable
  9.                 graphical user interface to GDB and DBX, the popular
  10.                 UNIX debuggers.  Besides ``usual'' features such as
  11.                 viewing source texts and breakpoints, DDD provides a
  12.                 *graphical data display*, where data structures are
  13.                 displayed as graphs.  Complex data structures can be
  14.                 explored incrementally and interactively.  Other DDD
  15.                 features include: debugging of programs written in C,
  16.                 C++, Pascal, MODULA-2, FORTRAN, and ADA; machine-level
  17.                 debugging; hypertext source navigation and lookup;
  18.                 GDB/DBX command-line interface with full editing,
  19.                 history, and completion capabilities; breakpoint,
  20.                 backtrace, and history editors; optional program
  21.                 execution in terminal emulator window; debugging on
  22.                 remote host; on-line manual; interactive help on the
  23.                 OSF/Motif user interface.  DDD has been designed to
  24.                 compete with well-known commercial debuggers.
